Looks a lot like a cross spider. The colors are a bit different from what I am used to, but in my limited experience, cross spiders tend to be one of the more variable spiders when it comes to their colors.
I think she is in that genus, but her markings are too odd to match Araneus diadematus. Araneus saevus is a related spider that we have had sightings of from Alaska. I haven’t seen many photos of it, but yes Araneus species spiders can surprise with their variability.
