Comments & ID Thoughts

I have found 3 of these in my house this week. I am concerned because we have a young child and one was in her playroom. Any ideas of what this is? Is it harmful to humans?

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 I can barely make out the details here. This is most likely a male Black Lace-weaver, Amaurobius ferox. Like most spiders they have venom but are not considered to be of medical significance, everyone’s immune system is different though.
