We were at a bar when this little guy dropped down on my head and ran across my face. Which caused quite the commotion the next few seconds. No worries though, it was released unharmed outside.
I spent the rest of the night looking up. The ceiling looked moldy with a lot of water damage.

Haha!! I have had this spider “web down” onto me as well. This is a Eastern Parson Spider. It’s from the family Gnaphisidae. It’s genus is Herpyllus and this species is Herpyllus ecclesiasticus. They aren’t medically significant to humans. They are lightning fast.
