Steatoda or Latrodectus? I posted the biggest specimen I could find just a few minutes ago (will try and post links in comment), this one was only a few feet away and giving a very clear view of the underside. It’s a bit smaller - abdomen maybe only ~6mm across, about the size of a peppercorn? or, say, just a bit smaller than the dead wood louse / pillbug in the background - but from what I could see is almost certainly the same type of spider.
Any tips or ID appreciated.
