This big fellow is persistent and intelligent. He/she was found hanging upside down on our porch ceiling a few inches from the porch light that comes on at sunset. Reluctantly I removed him yesterday morning with a strong jet of water from the garden hose. The spider ended up somewhere in the garden. Unbelievably today he/she was back on the porch ceiling in the exact same place. I couldn't believe it! Hence my interest in finding out more.
