I also found one today just like this down in Crawford County, but the abdomen was a lighter color (almost tan). Would love to know what it is.

Hi, and welcome o the site. This is certainly one of the Ctenizidae, trapdoor spiders, the scalloped carapace suggest Bothriocyrtum or Ummidia genus.

I might suggest yours is Ummidia genus, the tibial saddle on the 3rd leg is hint.
