Found while fishing. She was hanging out on the water’s surface like a pondskater.
I like the common name Dubious Nursery Web Spider. I found that on Bugguide. Our site didn’t choose a common name. I think your ID is correct. Nice fishing find! I find a lot of interesting spiders in the areas where people fish from shore. They are the first place I go when I go to a new park. That’s how I found two species of Fishing Spider, Argiope trifasciata, lots of Tetragnathidae, and Tent Web spiders.
