My family and I moved from London to China a few years back. We see lots of fairly dangerous snakes but this is the first dodgy looking spider we've seen. My 2yr old daughter was chasing it down the hallway. Should I be worried?

Maybe a Huntsman? Yes, you probably should intervene when your 2 year old is chasing a huge foreign spider. The spider could get hurt! The venom may not be dangerous, but a bite is a puncture wound with bacterial inoculation. My father texted me that message today after I sent him a photo of a five foot water snake that I was handling with a child.
