Spider is about 1” across. Looks like a common garden spider. Decorates it web with white filaments. First was a circle, now a cross hair/X theme.

Yellow garden spider. Sometimes called a writing spider or zipper spider. Charlotte from Charlotte’s Web
I would guess Argiope argentata, the Silver Garden Orbweaver.
I have several of these in my yard. I have embraced them as part of the local family and we are getting along well. Several in our Parcha, a couple in a vine in the front and one in my pool pump house.
Everybody is happy.
