Marbled Orb Spider. I encountered this spider hiking on the Weverton Cliff Trail near Harpers Ferry.

Thank you! I believe I’ve seen others before similar to this, but more red and black color tones without the yellow.
Araneus marmoreus has a wide variety of colors and markings combinations. The black and yellow is the most common, but we’ve been seeing more marbled Marbled Orbweaver photos this year.
