I came home and I seen this spider crawling very slow on the concrete floor in the garage. so I scooped him up and put him somewhere warm so he dosent die. but ive never seen one before if someone could help ID it for me thanks

Hi, I think she’s Araneus marmoreus, a Marbled orbweaver, due to the color pattern of her leg band markings. They have variable colors and markings on the abdomen. This is an unusual combination. She has oviposited her eggs into an egg sac. That deflated her abdomen. The females usually live Autumn to Autumn. The males die sooner. You can keep her as a pet if you want to though she may still die from the physical ordeals of Autumn and reproduction. Let us know if you want advice on how to do that.
