I want to say it’s a brown widow, but would love to know what it is

She’s a Cross Orbweaver, Araneus diadematus. She isn’t dangerous to people. She should be outdoors to make her large orb webs. She is due to make an egg sac around now and that is definitely best done outdoors. Her eggs will become hatchlings over the cold season. They have the ability to survive freezing temperatures. A shortage of rainfall or flying insects could have led her to go through an opening in the foundation or under a door to find a better place.
