Comments & ID Thoughts
Found on my kitchen hob! Have absolutely no idea what it is, but it's different in shape to most other spiders I've seen at home before.

It’s a Fence-post Jumper, (Marpissa muscosa), its harmless and they are rather uncommon in Denmark, I had to go onto a Denmark dedicated spider documentation site to even find that it lives up there, like all jumping spiders they are very calm and curious due to their high intelligence, they also have excellent eyesight unlike most spiders, jumping spiders almost never bite humans and when they do the bite is only mildly painful, they also deal with pests including other spiders and don’t even leave webs, the perfect house guest.
Definitely Salticidae… I’m not sure how you can be so specific with this picture but fair play if you’re sure.
Thanks so much, Zorathex! Agreed that it’s a pretty cute spider.
