Comments & ID Thoughts

ID please? We've never seen this type here before. It was found late at night in our bathroom corner near the floor. No web visible. A fairly small spider, full leg span is about the size of a dime, possibly a bit smaller.

Hi there this looks like a Parasteatoda tepidariorum (Common House Spider) I hope this helps :3

Could also be a Steatoda Triangulosa (Triangulate Cobweb Spider) – they leave messy cobwebs but it can take them several days (usually nights) to build them.
