Comments & ID Thoughts

Very big spider, never saw any like it. Was 75F yesterday, 45 today. I have a picture of the underside too - 4 prominent yellow spots on it. Would love to know what it is. Gnarly.

Unless I’m mistaken, that looks almost dead-on for Ummidia sp. but I did not know they were native to the Northeast. Unless it’s an escaped/released pet.
