The bumps on its back are baby’s. I’d love to know if there are hundreds of poisonus spiders in my house. Also just curious what it is.
She’s a Wolf Spider in family Lycosidae. They don’t have venom that is medically significant to people. She may act a little aggressive while she is busy protecting her babies. They aren’t aggressive toward humans except to defend offspring and to defend their own lives. Try to avoid startling her, that could cause the babies to jump off. She’s trying to keep all of them together on her body. There shouldn’t be bonus babies elsewhere. To find any that might have fallen off – shut off the lights and search the floor with a flashlight.
