Please help identify this beauty that I found near am outdoor storage closet. I had swept away the web covering the lockset on the door- no photo sorry. It was a vertical, almost rectangular web.
She’s a very good-looking Cross Orbweaver, Araneus diadematus. She should be ready to make an egg sac very soon.
