Please tell me what type of spider this is. It’s black or very dark brown with black. Very large or size of a nickel or a little bigger with the legs.

Can They would please tell me what type of spider this is? Thank you
The photo isn’t clear enough for a specific identification. The vague body shape and location suggest that it could be a Fishing Spider. They aren’t dangerous and can be gently scooped up and placed outdoors. They often end up in sinks,bathtubs, and laundry rooms seeking a place with water. Sorry it was all I could get from my cell. A fishing spider. My bro in law goes to Alaska to fish once a year. Could he have brought it back to Seattle and I trekked to the other side of the house to the tub? They can come up the drains too can’t they? But their drain is always clogged with hair from the women who never clean or clear the drain. The masses he pulls out seem to be big enough to block the pipe.
