I think this is a bolder jumper.

I thought it was very odd to find this little guy. This was after a inch of snow melted. Out in the open at night on my grass.
Spiders can live in the gap between ground and snow, it is decently insulated. According to one of our volunteers, the spiders move around to avoid being in the water of melted snow. They can survive under porches, in sheds, and against houses that lose heat. Some types of web spiders die in the cold weather because there aren’t flying insects.
