Comments & ID Thoughts

No clue with this one. Just walking across our front yard which is pretty much a field and there it was on the ground. Very bright yellow and about the size of a 50cent piece with its leg. Never seen one like this so I had to ask. Thanks in advance.

Marbled Orbweaver (Araneus marmoreus). These are some of the prettiest spiders in North America, and they come in lots of colors. Their legs are orange near the body, then banded black and white like stockings. It’s really distinctive once you know what to look for! 🙂
