Please help identify I don’t know if it bit me and want to know if it’s just a nice British house spider thank you x
I think this is Zoropsis spinimana. They don’t do well in the cold so it may be seeking warmth. It isn’t a problem spider. It isn’t technically a nice British house spider, it is native to the Mediterranean coastal area. Species are changing their ranges as climate change increases and as humans increasingly travel and ship things with stowaway species. Z. spinimana was introduced somehow to California. So, USA has them too.
