Hi, and welcome to the site. Yes, this is one of the Araneidae orb weavers. Yours is a female Mastophora genus, commonly called bolas spiders. These may resemble bird dropping for their camouflage, amazing hunting by swinging a silk like with a blob on the end to catch prey. Nice find.

Yes, this is a Bolas Spider (Mastophora sp.). Lovely find. Too many options in FL for me to be sure of species. Welcome to Spider ID. 🙂
