This one is stumping me. Most common spiders around my household is orb weavers, widows, grass and common house spiders. I have never seen this one before.

On the back of its hind body looks like the white house. Same coloring as the stripe.

Yes, that would be the spider. That’s the first time I’ve heard the marking described as the White House. That’s a terrible tramp stamp! It looks like a Bald Eagle or the head of a Klansman to me. ;( Thankfully the spider is not at all as dangerous as its back end’s marking. This might have been difficult for you to identify because it is a Western spider only. They were introduced to California, I think from Europe. They are good at killing flies and mosquitoes – gotta love it!
This looks similar to one that I just posted. We have had a lot of real black and brown widows around our area and unit.
