I found this spider in the basement and I would like to ID it. I never encountered this type of spiders.

This was a Woodlouse Hunting Spider, Dysdera crocata. Woodlouse is one common name for the flat round gray or black insects that live on decaying wood. They roll up into spheres when disturbed. This spider species has fangs that wrap around and through the specific prey. It doesn’t have venom that is dangerous to humans and extremely limited physical ability to puncture our skin. The fangs are visible in the photo, one is out of the normal resting position due to fatal injury.
