Second time I’ve seen this type of spider around my house. Wondering what it is since it seems common in the area. I live in Little Rock, Arkansas. By a lake. There is a lot of pine needles and pine trees around my house.

I think it is one of the Rabid Wolf Spiders in genus Rabidosa. It’s an unfortunate common name, they aren’t medically dangerous to people nor aggressive. They are spiders that actively hunt rather than using webs to catch insects.
