Comments & ID Thoughts

Hi what type of spider is this? My wife has a fear of spiders so I had to kill it fast but when I did there was a medium brown liquid that came out of it but quiet a lot of it

This looks like it is in class Arachnida, but order Solifugae rather than Aranae. They are a different kind of arachnids than spiders are. They aren’t dangerous to people.

Similar to the Solifugae I found. It’s non venomous. Neither a spider nor a scorpion. They move pretty fast.

It’s a Red Roman (Solifugae, meaning “those that flee from the sun”.)

Looks like a red Roman, such beautiful creatures, can get quite big and run really fast. I think the bite is not poisonous but very painful.
