Thank you for posting two photos, they are both helpful. The markings are beautiful. I think this is probably Uloborus plumipes. It was introduced to the UK in 1992. It has been spreading in the European region through surviving in greenhouses and has apparently gained the common name of Garden Centre Spider. That might explain why it is living on your houseplant. It is speculated that they might eat White Fly infestations on houseplants. It has to be eating something.
