This small being crawled out if my school bag today 1/21/19. She/he looks like a tiny brown crab. Hasn't moved since exploring out of bag compartment.

She looks like a crab because she’s a Crab Spider. 🙂 They move and hunt like crabs too. They don’t have the claws that pinch though. They don’t use webs to catch insects, they’re ambush predators. They go to a place where they expect to find insects (your school bag?) that is similar to their coloring so they aren’t seen. Some can change the colors of their bodies and markings by moving pigmented chemicals around in their bodies.
