Did you leave the Black Widow on the playground fence? I would have moved it to protect it from children. Thanks for mentioning that the photo is filtered. It makes a difference in the depth perception effect, it flattens when tones become monotone. I filter mine a tiny bit to make up for the exposure of the flash and my mini flashlight. I leave the color alone so things don’t look fake. She’s probably Latrodectus hesperus, a Western Black Widow. Nice photo composition, btw. Where you an art student?
