I love this picture of this spider I took on a night walk in San Carlos Acosta Rica. I believe it is a Eriophora fuliginea. I don’t know the common name. I would like to know more about it and how often it has been photographed.I took the picture on Dec 15th 2019.

Hi, it is a great photo! She does look like Eriophora fuliginea. I don’t think it has a common common name. That’s not unusual in the scope of the billions of species that have existed and how few of them we discuss casually. We have two other photos of this species that were submitted to the site. Most of the photos we receive are from North America. Project Noah or iNaturalist would be better sites for learning how often this spider is photographed and identified.
