Comments & ID Thoughts

So weird story with this freaky fellow...
When I was sleeping, I woke to see this guy creepily crawling about 3 inches away from my face, like right near my eyeball. But I didn’t react at all, and actually closed my eyes and went back to sleep. This is because I thought it was a hallucination, sometimes I see scary, or unnatural looking things when I wake up in the middle of the night, and I thought this was one of them. In the morning I told my mom what I saw last night and described how the spider looked with it’s tan body, black knees, and long thin legs, and how it crawled around so realistically, just like a real spider would. While I’m describing what this spider looked like, I notice something in the vents above my bed, and there it was. The same spider that crawled just a few inches away from my face that I considered a “hallucination” was dead hanging in the vent.
I have no idea what type of spider this is and I really want to know. I saw this spider in Long Island, New York. As I said above, they had a tan body, black knees, very long thin legs, and a small head which you can see hanging over one of the vent bars. Sorry about the bad quality photo, it was the best one of it I had, hopefully it’s still identifiable.
Thanks for any future info!
