Hi, this is a Brown Widow, Latrodectus geometricus. The venom isn’t as dangerous as that of a Black Widow, but it it can be dangerous. This is not an aggressive spider, it would prefer to escape and hide over a conflict with a human. Bites occur when skin is deliberately or accidentally pressed against the spiders. The egg sacs of this species are white balls with spikes. Are you in Alabama or South Africa?

Thanks for letting us know what weird stuff the site’s programming is doing. Watch out for Brown Widows on towels, that could turn into an unpleasant situation.
