Golden Silk Spider
Golden Silk Spider – Genus NephilaIntroductionThe Golden Silk Spider is also known as the Giant Wood Spider. They create silk coloring that is gold which is very different from other types of Spiders. This is where their name comes from. This may be a benefit that allows their webs to be more attractive. They do look aggressive but there is no real evidence to suggest that is true.
Araneidae (Orb-weavers) > Nephila How in the world can these photos be put in the right place????
https://spiderid.com/spider/araneidae/ I don’t understand your question. This spider was changed to a different genus around 2011. It is now Trichonephila clavata. It does have a range throughout South America.
I’m sorry, she is T. clavipes not T. clavata.
https://wsc.nmbe.ch/genus/5738 This is a link to the World Spider Catalog. It shows all spiders in genus Trichonephila. On the gray horizontal bars with the species are the primary ranges of each.
She’s Trichonephia clavipes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trichonephila_clavipes.
