Comments & ID Thoughts

I live in Glendale Arizona near Phoenix in a well developed area. I have sent it to multiple people and they have guessed wolf spider or brown recluse but the dark stripes on the joints and back don’t seem to match. Or is that part of a juvenile or adolescent phase of one of those? Please help. I found him on the middle of the wall in a closet. No web found.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This looks like a Spitting Spider (Scytodidae), Scytodes lugubris.
