Comments & ID Thoughts

I have no idea what this little fellah is. Found it in my downstairs bathroom that is usually dark and left unattended 95% of the time. I assume it is nothing venomous but just to be on the safe side since I am welcoming my baby any day now.

This is almost certainly a wolf spider. I want to say Tigrosa (sp.) But I’m not familiar with Arizona spiders. Someone will come along and give you a for sure answer soon.

Misread 😀 Super excited to have the site back. Got ahead of myself. Thank you though.

Were you a member when it was Spiders.us?

xSpiderBro

Yes, under the same name. I missed this place so much. I kept checking waiting for it to come back and I was looking for a spider today for a friend and happened across this. I was very surprised indeed. Is there still a standard forum, or is it all just this layout now?

ItsyBitsy

I requested a forum early on but I think for now it’s just this layout. At the moment I’m the only active moderator and with so many ID requests I wouldn’t have time to check on the forum too, though I agree there should be one. There’s still a bunch of other things that need to be worked on.

I’ll keep doing my best to help you out with the IDs. I’m a little rusty as it’s been quite some time since the old site though.

Thanks, I appreciate it and welcome back!
