Found this on my house this evening. I live in a rural area near Grand Rapids, MI. We have a lot of small spiders around but this big guy is a first. Based on our research, we've think it might be a species of crab spider. However, most pictures of crab spiders have hind legs roughly 2 times the length of their abdomen, this spider's are 6-8 times as long.

Correction, the hind legs are 4 times the length of the abdomen.
Found one that looks the same in the country surrounded by trees and farmland. Not far from Illinois. Was a bit larger than a quarter in diameter.
