This is a study of Theridiidae spiders competing directly against each other including Steatoda triangulosa, Latrodectus geometricus, and Black Widows.

Yeah I love the Therdiidae family. From my experience Steatoda triangulosa and Steatoda grossa are rarely found together. Also Latrodectus sps are hardly ever found near Steatodas. A large Urban property Outside/Inside multi-level building consisted of all large unmarked Steatoda under the last set of stairs. One section of this building had mainly all Steatoda triangulosas 12+ or so. A concrete wall and sitting area on outside of this building had ONLY Steatoda grossas (hundreds)!
