White-banded fishing spider with a small Orchard spider hanging with it.

That was an interesting pair. I think I can only label one species per photo, so I went with the Fishing Spider because it’s a nice shot showing the “white band.” The other is a Mabel Orchard Orb Weaver. The web looks like the beginning of a nursery web for the Fishing Spider. Her abdomen is flattened, like she just oviposited her eggs. She’s standing in an aggressively defensive manner. like they do when they guard offspring. The orbweaver has a web very close to her.
