I live in MS on the Coast. I live in Apts and came out to thus. What type is it? Is it dangerous? It has a zigzag web pattern that I'm guessing it's working on.

That’s a yellow garden spider (Argiope aurantia).

Thank you Keith! She wasn’t dangerous to people. The zigzag web is called a stabiimentum, the purpose of it isn’t agreed upon by scientists. Her main web was sticky circles (“orbs”) and strong straight lines. Spiders that make webs with this pattern are called Orb Weavers.
