My initial guess is a Basilica Orbweaver, however, the colors are different.

It’s different than the photos we usually see. Her legs don’t have yellow markings. I think she might be a juvenile Trichonephila clavata. It is relatively newly-introduced species from Asia to the state of Georgia. There have been a few South Carolina sightings. I’m not sure, she lacks the leg hairs. Note that she is holding the bug by the front. Spiders instinctively know to avoid the stinging end of the prey.
