Araneus marmoreus, I think.
Found in suburban lawn, it crawled out of the grass I was watering.

Yep this is a marbled orb-weaver (Araneus marmoreus).
These orange ones are affectionatly called ‘pumpkin spiders’.
They look to be carying a little pumpkin.
