This is a male noble false widow.. Steatoda nobilis

They are natives of the canary Islands but have been in Britain since the 1800s. They are called false widows because they look a bit like black widows. The tabloids have spread a lot of misinformation about them. They do not have the venom to cause the wounds that they are accused of….they are shy creatures and bites are rare. ..here is some information on them. https://www.falsewidowspider.org.uk/facts
