maybe brown recluse spider? But it is said in California there is no such spider.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 You have one of the Western Ageleninae (Funnel Weavers/Agelenidae). There are several similar genera found in CA that are difficult to tell apart from an image. They are not considered to be of medical significance. Although you aren’t likely to see a Brown Recluse (Loxosceles reclusa) in CA there are other species in the genus that can be found there, most notably the Desert Recluse (Loxosceles deserta).
