These are always in front of my house. I read online that these are equally or as deadly as a black widow bite. I burn them with a lighter when ever i see these because they like to make HUGE webs in front of my house and on the side of my house. I have only seen females guarding their egg sacs and I have taken pioson to their egg sacs as well. Never have i stomped or smashed the sacs because that could cause hundreds of babies to exist and pour out. Remember never smash egg sacs. Just pioson… Read more »
Shabana, marbled orbweavers are not poisonous to humans. Very few spiders are dangerous to humans in any way. When you are contemplating massacring some, you might want to keep in mind that spiders eat things that ARE trying to bite you.
I mistook the photo for another spider similar to this one in the photo. The one I saw is VERY similar to the one in the photo. The main difference is that the ones that are always in front of my house have a BIG W on the top of the body. I looked them up. It’s basically an imitation black widow, not an orb weaver.
