Hi, this is an Orb-weaver (Araneidae) of some sort. I’m not sure which given the state it’s in. One possibility is a Hentz Orb-weaver (Neoscona crucifera) which are very common this time of year. They’re not an indoor species. It must of wandered in somehow by accident or was carried in on something.
