Hello – does anyone know what kind of spider this is? Found it in my breaker box on the side of my house last night.
Hi, this is a Noble False Widow, Steatoda nobilis. Not really something to worry over. They’re only likely to bite in self defense and prey on less desirable things. You can reduce their numbers by vacuuming everywhere and empty the canister outside, and seal cracks around floors, doors, foundation etc., anywhere a bug could get in. 🙂
