My wife had hair sprayed it to death before I got to see it, takes away some of the little details I would have liked to see.

Hi, I was just reading about the Family Opiliones of arachnids and the photos reminded me of your photo. Your shellacked arachnid may be a harvestmen rather than a spider. They are one of the types of arthropods that people call daddy long legs. They don’t bite people. People do appear to have a tendency to hose bugs with any aerosol spray they can grab. Where did your wife learn hairspray combat techniques? 😉
