Found 2 spiders 50mm across. 6ft off the ground in a shady overgrown tree area beside the road / drive in Warana Ave, Southport, Qld, 4215
Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 I can barely make her out – so can’t be sure – but I’m thinking maybe Nephila plumipes.

Just found a Nephila Clavipes(golden silk Orb-weaver)spider in a web of 4 foot across from a hedge to a hammock. First time a seen one here in Hallandale(South Florida). Her web is full of bugs that seems she stack them up in a pile. Whenever I get close she knows I’m there and she will move a little. Thanks for letting me know they are not to be a concern. She will be left alone.
