I live in Maryland. This spider was in a box that was mailed from PA. I did not see it when I opened the box yesterday, but it was there today.

Hi, this is a Nursery Web Spider, Pisaurina mira. They are related to fishing spiders. They’re usually found on flat vertical surfaces. I had a female and her potential mates on the side of my house last year.
