Comments & ID Thoughts

This spider was almost crawling on me, I tried to swat it but it got away. I couldn’t sleep until I hunted him down and found him then sprayed him with the bleach bottle until dead

Hi, how can I help? What do you want to learn about that will help ease your fear?

ItsyBitsy

This is a Funnel Weaver/Grass Spider (Agelendiae). You may be seeing males wandering in search of mates. They are not considered to be of medical significance (everyone’s immune system is different though) and have no reason to come after you. You can reduce the number of spiders you find in your home by sealing cracks around floors, doors, windows, foundation, etc., vacuum everywhere and empty the canister outside.
